PLUS vanguard/crucible armor usually have 2 sets each that are slightly different so you could have 4 sets for each revision.
Faction gear has received updates periodically.
Then there's mix and match plus shaders.

Heh ... it was fun to take off my shader back when I was 29 on my Titan ... complete mix and match armor ... looked like a Red Neck titan. ("You might be a Red Neck Titan if your armor has more than 5 colors without your shader enabled.")
