With House Of Wolves coming out soon, and there being so many Exotics in the game.. i think it is time we are able to equip more than one piece of Exotic armor..
Now, i know it would make everyone just equip those and not use Legendaries, but.. what if every exotic you equip (after the first) gives a penalty to certain stats, or as i would like to call it, you become "corrupt".. for example, if i were to equip Mask Of The Third Man as well as Lucky Raspberry, there would be a 5% increase in damage received from enemies or maybe a penalty to Agility or Recovery.
With every other Exotic equipped you gain corruption, so if i was to add a third Exotic armor piece to my character, i would get another 5% increase to damage taken, or another penalty to my stats... this would happen again if you equip a fourth.
So wearing 4 Exotic pieces of armor would give you a 15% stack of either increased damage received, or a 15% penalty to recovery or agility..
Now, to the weapons.
This would also be slightly the same, only difference being, is that you would receive a 5% decrease in damage dealt for every Exotic you have (ignoring the first) so if you had 3 Exotic weapons equipped you would get a 10% decrease in damage dealt to enemies.
This would make it so you can show off all the cool exotics you have got, but at the same time you wouldn't be overpowered.
