The thing I find hilarious is how people get on Americans for not knowing about their country, their culture. They brag about how they have an American history course as a mandatory class in primary school.
But when you ask them the simplest of questions about countries not relating to them or America, they get befuddled and confused. They are as, if not more, ignorant than any average American.
You want to know why everyone knows so much about America? Because they are -blam!-ing America. All eyes are on the giant. You are not better than Americans because you know as much about their history as you do theirs. They are better than you because of that fact.
