Jeremy Clarkson fired from Top Gear
Seems like Mr.Clarkson couldn't get out of this one. According to a report Jeremy Clarkson will be fired from the BBC. I guess this is sad but I don't know what people were expecting. Clarkson assaulted somebody and no matter who you are that's not right. Yes we all make mistakes but there are consequences for your mistakes. I'm sad but not too terribly torn up about it. TG was getting a little stale imo. And it's not like Clarkson is suffering. He's a multimillionaire, so he'll be fine. It's just sad such a great show went out on a bad note.

Which makes absolutely no sense to me, but whatever. I'll see if it's still watchable next season, I wish they would make a James May garage show or something.

8 RepliesTop gear may not end. I could see them getting a new presenter, probably a young woman, just to mix things up a little. On the Clarkson issue, he deserves everything he gets. I think he made the show great, and was the better presenter, but, as the OP said, actions have consequences. Any other employee would be given the heave-ho after actions even remotely close to what Clarkson did. He's no different from the rest of us in that regard.
