When you inspect the six man fireteam you're going up against and you see it coming before the match. 4+ defender Titans with Alpha Lupi and 1-2 golden gunning hunters.
What happens: Once all the Titans on the team have WoD bubble, they will go straight to the B zone. After stacking 4 armor bubbles on top of each other, the hunters walk through what is now an "unlimited super portal". Of course, the bubbles will build off of themselves so the orbs just keep coming. Meaning, yes, literally NON-STOP GG.
This has happened countless times in one iron banner to me. Now I just leave at the beginning if I suspect it.
The worst part is it turns any average player into a god for the time being. We were up 12k to 6k when they start cheating last night. Yes, it is cheating when you have a highly assisted OHK supercharged gun with at least 3 bullets all the time. Your argument is already invalid. Yes, a vortex nova bomb will clear the bubbles and so will FoH. The fact of the matter is it is extremely difficult to beat and I have yet to do so. I'm far from average in the crucible so when I can beat you, just take it haha
we lost
If you haven't been victim to this, I fear, it won't be long. It's obviously the "new thing to do" in the crucible. I know the original video from gigglemonster on YouTube is still there(if it's not the original, I don't care).
Why do people exploit this game to this extent? Do you report them? Do you use this method?
EDIT: much strategy, pls teach. Thanks to everyone who isn't hiding in an armor bubble with their other bubble buds
EDIT: someone mentioned tacking orbs out of pvp. I think it's a perfect solution to abusing the system. Earning your own super as opposed to being handed one for running through a bubble is a solid fix.

I will post a video on counter strategy. It's not as op as you think
-
Have not seen it this whole iron banner.
-
Cheese? I think you mean tactics, you know using your classes abilities to maximum effect. There's absolutely no cheese about it.
-
Your example says there's 4 titans and 2 hunters at B... Take A and C. The opponents seem to rely on everyone rushing their stack of bubbles, so just go elsewhere
-
You realize they nerfed this. It's not as obtainable anymore
-
Hahaha it's tactics fool. If that's their plan, leave them to it and take the other flags. Some people...
-
So because some people take an items intended properties and strategize to use them in unison as the game is designed....its cheating? Why not just give props to whoever started it and accept their genius.
-
It's not cheating, it's a strat bottomline
-
Sounds like a strategy to me. A good one too
-
Ran into this attempted tactics, but never lasts. Learn to not shoot the bubble to feed them orbs. Ignore it and cap other zones for now til you have supers. Then slowly destroy them. Or me and some people use to have push battles to get them out of the bubble to pick em off
-
Don't play against 6-man premade fireteams.
-
Death from Above with Aftermath or a Nova Bomb with Vortex could easily solve this problem. It's also very possible to kill hunters during golden gun. Removing Orbs from Pvp would be very disappointing to me since a big part of my playstyle is helping out my teammates with orb generation, this would be like removing shotguns in Pvp because people are upset about Felwinter's Lie.
-
As lame and dishonorable as it is, it's still a strategy. With that being said, sit back, don't rush in and whatever zone they hold, move to the other two. If you keep them on the move, it's monumentally harder for them to coordinate.
-
You know you can just capture A and C rather than feed them at B ?
-
They can only hold one control point this way. Take and keep the other two and don't throw away lives on that one. The bubbles will go away in a few little while without anyone trying to kill them.
-
They're doing it wrong. Saint 14 is better for this strat. Even blade dancers can't hang in a blind bubble
-
I have not seen it at all in IB and I've only seen it once in normal crucible.
-
Why hasn't your ugly face been addressed?
-
6 Hunters with Achlyophage Symbiote. 8 shots to pop bubbles, 16 rounds in the chambers to obliterate their team. Feed and repeat.
-
Its strategy man. Is it cheap? Yes but it's also genius. Just like in real life you want a strat to win and not die. If you keep coming up against this then get a 6 man counter team. Simple fix really.
-
Legit strategy. I run striker personally, and have only encountered similar things (several bubbles on B, but no GG abuse.) Its pretty easy to coi tee when strikers can launch out of nowhere at the bubbles and get 3-5 kills.
-
I rarely see it being used, but I have ran into a couple. I just tell my team to save their supers and we would usually super at the same time at different angles.
-
I've done this in Clash with 4 defenders while I was using obsidian mind. Dropped 30 kills. 26 of then being with my super. It's fun to do though. I've seen some teams try it and fail miserably. Either way, it's not a cheese. It's a strategy. Just an annoying one.
-
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
-
Kinda the idea of the game play isn't it though? At least you need to get 6 people together to do it. .that kinda limits it a bit.. Always going to be cheap tactics when you work smart. That's the idea.. Tactics
-
If your team is using mics you can easily avoid that by communication And if you have some bladedancers they can kill the shielded titans in the bubbles. You just need a team strategy to beat another teams strategy
