Lone Wolf breaks off from the pack, works his own way regardless of what his team is planning or doing. Strong in their own right, but unpredictable and a pain if they get them selves killed.
Medic: fights when they can, otherwise making sure to get downed allied. Very reliable person, well rounded but concerns them selves with getting downed team mates over actually fighting.
Heavy: has all the OP weapons, damage dealing tanker with no speed or agility. Just walking armor with the biggest guns the game has to offer. Often used as mobile cover and bait by their team, but valued greatly.
Assassin: you stay back, pick off enemies and strike when unexpected. You may not have the highest kills, but with your hand cannons and sniper rifles, you kill the most troublesome before they even knew what hit them.
Leader: the fire team boss everyone likes and respects. Your skills at fighting are well rounded, but you have the talent to lead even the most unlikely of teams to victory.
Leroy Jenkins: LEEEEEERRRROOOOYYTT JEEEEEEENKINS!!!!! Often making bum rushes? Just crashing in to the enemy an killing all you can before often getting killed your self? Often hear the medic saying "poor choices.."? This is you then.
Other? Explain and classify! :) no hate and have fun guardians!
Long live the VOG!
Edit: wow, most responses ever :0 keep it coming guardians! Brag on your bum rushes and healing stories! I found most people are mixes but favor one thing over the other.
Cheers guardians!
Current leader: lone wolf 21%
Second place: toss up between leader and Leroy...? Ok lol. 17%
Seems like guardians prefer to make their own fate, be in charge of the team or just.. Ya know... LEEEEEEROYYYYYY JEEEEEEEENKINS!!!!!!
Such positive results.. I lost count of how many people have posted here. Keep it coming guardians and keep voting!
Long live the VOG! And cheers to the guardians, for without them i would be working at five nights at Freddy's or a transformers extra.

I'm kind of a Medic/Heavy/Assassin depending on the situation, so I suppose a supporting role in general. I'm happy to follow if there are more experienced players running in the team. I'm happy to hang back and snipe the shite out enemies, especially Fallen snipers, which I'm fairly good at. Funnily enough, I'm more of a Titan character than a Hunter.
-
Assassin most likely. Love some flanking and picking off targets. Very stocked that I have a decent sniper for all elements, so always can break through some bastards shield, whatever the strike may be.
-
Where's "team player"?
-
I feel like a leader a lot. I mean, I usually lead the team through The Gorgons, through the Nightfall, telling them where the best spots to camp are, and more. :p
-
Hey Atheon. Slight love.
-
Hate to break it to you all: 22% of us ain't leaders and you would do the real leaders a whole lot of good if you would admit that. Carry on.
-
I'm honestly kind of all of these. Especially on my hunter. >_<
-
Relic Dude. Good with any relic.
-
I am a Medic Assassin Nuff really said I haven't accomplished anything other than collecting cloaks
-
i seriously think im the only medic on destiny lol
-
mix of leeroy jenkins, medic, and support. i use my bd to go invis and rev everyone, but i have a bad habit of going kamikaze in pvp and pve xD in raids i can play floater: defending the time gates while checking up on the confluence defender AND rev downed guardians. i dont like to lead, its too stressful. i prefer to be support.
-
Leader/medic/heavy because I usually take charge In raids, i am always in the line of fire and revive people as soon as I can
-
Assassin/Leader: I tend to stay back and pick off high-value targets from a distance when possible. This also gives me an unparalleled tactical view of the battlefield, the better to direct my fireteam members.
-
As a bladedancer in pve, assassin and medic
-
Im a leader and a medic
-
Lone wolf and Medic
-
Lone wolf for days
-
Medic/Assassin. I usually stay in the background shooting longrange targets with my sniperriflle and/or scoutrifle. I only push forward to revive my fallen teammates.
-
Leroy in PvP, Leroy/Heavy/Leader in PvE
-
I assume whatever role is necessary
-
I main void walker and use him like a tank..holding middle flag or assaulting ..the same with raiding I use thunderlord or jolders hammer for every part
-
Medic/LEROY Sunsinger makes that combo very doable. Im mostly running assault rifles to lower the kill time for my teammates, overcommitting in bad situations, and getting myself out of my own problems. This also pulls agro off my teammates so they can fall back if theyre in a bad way
-
I main a Warlock but I have the play style of a Titan. Sometimes it works others not so much.
-
Lone wolf is beat leader. I can leave other stages of a multipart plan to them and observe where I'm needed most, overcompensate for lack and move on elsewhere. I am mixed.
-
Depends on my character. When I play my Titan I'd say I'm a support role. I use my Word of Dawn to shield my fire team and give them damage or shield buffs, and I clear any adds when somebody runs out to revive a fallen team mate
-
Heavy leader.
