Ugh your idea is a contradiction to the reason you argue it. I walked into the tower today and bought a pair of boots and 3 Jolder's hammers, took me 5 minutes, and I never needed to fire a bullet. So ... I'd say even cheesing is more difficult than arriving in the tower at the correct time.
