THE ONLY WAY TO 34 SHOULD BE IRON BANANA
As a certified crucible legend (top 1% for crucible deaths, top 1% for orb collection, bottom 3% for ktd), and expert PvE player (2 check em 2 raid completions) who was the world's first to solo the crota chest in the abyss using only dancing to traverse the map, I have this great concept.
The reality is PvE is easy mode for scrubs. Giving out light 42 gear for walking through easy content vs the hard slog of earning it in the Iron Banner is a slap in the face. Anyone can die at the lanterns and get 36 light gear when a hunter invisibility cheeses the section solo. Only the supreme can grind the Iron Banner to level 34.
UPDATE: hahahahahahaha the Scrub zone of Eldars is an even bigger joke. Hur hur hur a 30 second gjally blast to level 35 completion. Please. And the Trials is Scrubsiris.....where 1 good player carries 2 scrubs to the lighthouse week in week out is hardly worthy of max level. These activities should be deleted from the game!!!!
I think raid, PoE and Trials gear should be reduced to Blue gear to represent the lack of skill required to get it.

4 RepliesI reckon there should be 2 sets of 32 gear Or in this case the next level cap. . You can get HOW raid gear. To put you up the the new max level. But it only benefits in the raid. Now since iron banner only comes every now and then that gear also should put up to the next cap. But the perks on the gear would be crucible related. And you could also reroll your perks just like iron banner guns Since the gear is random each time. Means more grinding. Until you got the full set.

6 RepliesOh look another pvp douche. I hate pvp if I wanna fight other people I'll go get in a fight in a bar or something. I play video games for the lack of reality they offer. Not so I can proclaim my button pushing skill is far greater than thine. If they removed Crucible from Destiny altogether I wouldn't even realize it unless someone brought it to my attention. That being said I am glad it is what makes you happy and any others that enjoy it. But it isn't for everyone and I will never play any game that is exclusively pvp. So hush up little pvp douche and go tell your mommy you pushed a button faster than someone else and perhaps she will give you a cookie.
