Some might be right that this shouldn't be a custom type of experience because lots of people will be playing private matches all the time and therefore crucible becomes neglected to a certain extent. Bungie is doing a right thing with matchmaking pvp because it encourages everybody to play in the community with nobody being left behind. That saying I think Yeah I was thinking there should be like an arena on the tower where you can 1v1 in a small facility with everybody having some type of same load out in regards to weapons. You would have the opportunity to challenge anybody to a duel first to 5 kills, Something simple like everybody has 1 hand cannon which are identical and that's it. No supers and other guardians can watch and spectate outside to see who wins. I know for sure the public online servers could handle something like that absolutely no problem and it would add refreshing environment in the social tower because most times everybody just comes and goes. They need to add some form of entertainment where guardians can do stuff casual and fun
