What causes tension between Hunters and Warlocks??
I've seen the 'floofing about' and 'we taught them to blink' statements on Warlock gear but is there more stuff in the Grimoire? Also, even without the grimoire, I see alot of back and forth between Warlocks and Hunters on a daily basis. Are Warlocks just jealous nerds, are Hunters just stuck up cool kids?
Edit 1: It's funny how the Titans just sit back with popcorn watching all this go down.
Edit 2: I'm seeing claims of sexual tension, very interesting stuff!

Edit 9 - MalPen is the only Warlock allowed to eat popcorn with the Titans...he brought beer.
Edit 10 - It has been speculated that the 'squishy' floofy Warlocks are just pretending to be friends with the Titans just so they can use them as muscle against the Hunters.....the plot thickens

5 Repliesbecause the only valuable skills hunters have involve running about with guns and knives. skills that were mastered in the 20th century and havent changed much since. meanwhile us warlocks are bending the universe to our will and exploring the afterlife. for some reason, hunters still seem to think themselves superior.

The edits alone made this thread worthwhile to read.. And yes - Floof / floofing are funny words. I haven't laughed so hard when I read the description on the Dusk Tread VI boots. That "[i]floofing about..[/i]" contributed to me creating a Warlock after playing a hunter for so long.

3 RepliesI think it's because the Warlocks and Hunters can make the best witty comebacks. Titans are too nice so they don't reply because of morals. Warlocks just don't want to be seen to be beaten Hunters are just to stubborn...

19 RepliesWarlocks, pre TDB, were always chosen over Hunters in LFG raids, for obvious reasons. Hunters are great for Oracles, but not much else. I, for one, got kicked a lot in favor of a warlock. Now, though, Hunters are invaluable for CE, making the warlocks the least appreciated class in CE. It's a matter of class tensions in our differing capabilities.

27 RepliesEdited by IRaidWithAussies: 3/14/2015 10:41:00 AMWhy Hunters (and everyone else) Hate Warlocks. - Grenades that explode more than once (Every class but hunter gets one) - Longest melee out of anyone in the game (should be for titans) - Instant shield after a melee... - Self Resurrect... especially in crucible [b]- Edited and removed for brevity[/b] - Nova Bombs and how you turn invincible in your animation - Legitimate Jump upgrades... bladedancers get one called "Better Control" which reduces jump height and length... Most importantly? Their faggy little dresses they wear. Cloaks, not capes, are worn for war. We use the cloak as a blanket when we go to sleep... which means it's useful... unlike that wierd little barbwire tattoo or whatever John Cena armband they wear. Titans? Titans are cool.
