Stand by the end of the level when they throw it and go up, down, left or right and the attack usually misses and exits the level. OR you can use psychic attack and use it the moment the ball is thrown and end up behind or under them unlike IT which puts you behind or in front of them.

Use Super Nova and Super Saiyan 2 to counter it. And instant transmission to evade the attack.
