It really isn't a debate, evolution is a fact. Its not subject to belief or disbelief, its reality. A scientific theory is a proven hypothesis. Evolution is a theory, just like Gravity, and Cells are "just a theory". Micro and Macro evolution are fake concepts invented by creationists in order to debunk it. Clearly, that did not work. Evolution has been directly observed in animals with short lifespans like fruit flies. If you are going to reject direct, peer reviewed observation, yet trust in the bible, or the Qur'an or any holy book. You are creating a double standard. The burden of proof is on us, and it has been met time and time again.
Edit: Wow 2000 replies that's awesome
Edit: I really love the responses, I can't believe we're over 3000
Edit: I'm gonna rewrite this post as I don't like the message it is portraying and some of the feedback it has received. I just don't personally like how it was wriited and the circumstances it was written in check back in a couple hours for the new one.

Plz watch

*hits blunt* bruh what if we were like the perfect creation after a few atempts. *hits blunt* like if we were gods science experiments That's deep though

Edited by SSG ACM: 4/30/2015 4:58:49 AMEvolution is neither a fact nor a scientific law. It is a theory based on a hypothesis born almost 2000 years ago. It's a theory, and the Law of Thermodynamics is that, a law that can be hypothesized, experimented, observed, and concluded. Both terms can't coexist because their logic conflicts. Evolution can only be hypothesized; thus, it can't be considered a fact without repeatable experimentation and observation. Another thing, let's all assume Evolution is true. Let's say that in the assumed scenario, some creature is presently evolving. Let's say a fish was developing an extra leg so that it's future generation would have to walk on land. What will happen to the fish? Being that the creature is no longer stream lined, it will become a product of another evolutionary phrase, "Survival of the Fittest," in which only the physical fit survive. Since the creature is at a physical disadvantage, it is not only likely that it would be rejected among its kind for procreation, but it would also be endangered by the carnivorous higher beasts that feed off of that kind; thus, evolution is apparently a contradictory fact in it of itself (where two terms acclaimed to be true are apparently contradicting each other when there poorly seen by evolutionists as logical proof).

Macro evolution is true. Species change and there are different types of classes of animals

I already liked this.

Edited by Hippo_Legacy: 5/4/2015 3:53:23 PMAlso guys he's talking about the scientific definition of "theory". A theory in the scientific world, is a well substantiated explanation of some aspect of the world. In lay mans terms a "theory" is accepted as fact in the scientific community. If he were to have said cells, gravity and evolution were all hypotheses, your outrage would have been well deserved.

Bad religious b8 m8 ur gonna cre8 a lot of h8 gr8 m8. I will still r8 ur not gr8 b8 8/8 but ur gonna get h8 from all the gr8 m8s who like to r8 b8 with h8
Cells are "just a theory".
No. Anyone who's gone through high-school biology knows Cells are real.

Explains ur gamertag gravity is not a theory. It's common sense

GODZILLAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!

Gravity and cells are scientific law... Evolution is a theory... The difference is a law is a proven hypothesis... But a theory is what it is... A theory

Edited by eelmonkey69: 5/4/2015 4:46:27 AMI believe we are an ape/alien hybrid.

I don't. Why do so many girls still have ugly feet!??

A good scientific mind questions everything, even theories; as a believer should question their chosen spiritual path. Only through scrutiny can we gain depth of understanding. I'm Christian and have no problem with evolution. To discount our spiritual nature or scientific observation is narrow minded
a scientific theory is an unproven hypothesis
*fixed it Theory is another word for possibility. I don't really care if evolution is right or not I just care about living. Does it really matter or effect me if I evolved from an ape? I would still be me if we evolved from snakes. I would look different but would still be me.

You gave no evidence or proof... You just stated that it is fact...
-
No its not

The Catholic Church supports theistic evolutionism, and Mendel was a Catholic monk. Just throwing that out there.

Edited by Penguin Emperor: 5/1/2015 2:21:18 AM2 minute theory. ( might be a different amount of time) Basically it's a theory that everything was created 2 min ago and our memories are fake

I say lets just keep thinking, pondering, learning and questioning our universe until we get an answer.
