Is this a really douchey thing to do? It's just been suggested to me that this is a good way of keeping track of your own threads, since we temporarily don't have a saved thread feature, but at the same time, even my inner attention whore (well, let's be honest...my outer attention whore) cringes at the thought of tagging every single thread I make with "#jaythenerdkid", as though I myself am always my only topic of discussion. (EVEN THOUGH I AM RIGHT HOHO)
What do you think? Does this read as a little desperate, or just useful?

Well, tags are designed to sort threads so it makes sense to use them to make it easier to find things later. It's the most practical way of keeping track of things until a saved thread feature is implemented (or at least an activity tracker for groups). It is unfortunate that the tag appears in the "trending" section if you do it enough, though. The whole trending section is kind of redundant at the moment because it seems it just has the most recent tags on display.
