Hate Against Kids (Rant)
Hello I am a [u]13 year old[/u] gamer and I play [b]Destiny[/b]. When I join someone or go on [b]raids [/b]I am Called "[i]Squeaker[/i]".
I am apparently someone to laugh at and abuse for being [u]2 years[/u] younger then another person. About 1 in 15 people are nice and don't care. When I need help with a Raid I invite people and ask people for help, then I am abused because I am [u]13 [/u]and have a voice that is kind of high.
I play with[u] 6-9 year old's[/u] if they need help... most other people just bully them and ruin the experience of Communication on this awesome [b]MMO[/b]. I love [b]Destiny [/b]it is fascinating and enjoyable... but about [b]70%[/b] of the community are bullies towards "Little Kids". If you don't want to play with someone because they have a voice that you absolutely can't stand, don't be a Bully just say "Sorry I really don't want to do this... I want to do other things" as appose to hurting feelings and being a dick.
You were a kid once whats wrong with it?
If they are screaming in the microphone and being really Annoying then give them a chance tell them your gonna kick them if they keep going, then if they keep going don't retaliate just be chill and say "Hey you had your warning... sorry your being kicked".
The thread is about people being bullies after they say a few words in a high voice. Also if they try to be funny don't laugh and say that wasn't really that funny try something else. About 4 years ago I got Xbox with COD and I did these things to so I can understand why people gave them this reputation. I feel it should be changed a little bit. Fighting fire with fire never works out it's just a waste of time.
If this is changed I would think [b]Destiny [/b]would be more inviting and people under [u]14 [/u] would enjoy it a lot more!
Also shut up about ratings. Look at the movies people sneak in all the time your not gonna stop anything.
In Australia you are allowed to play it so you can't say crap about kids from Aussie. Think of something without involving ratings or do you need to rely on them?

I've only ever booted a kid three times and in all of them, our party had a general consensus. First time was in VoG. Kid was laughing and shooting at us for no reason during oracles which was annoying as it messed up our aim and he wasn't doing anything productive. We warned him once, he didn't listen. We failed. He carries on. We warned him again. Says he'll stop. Doesn't we fail. We give him last warning. And he doesn't listen and we fail again. I take us to orbit. Ask the team if we want to kick him. Everyone says yes. Kid starts crying. *boot* We get another guy and beat Oracles first try. Second was in IB. -blam!-ing 7 year old was screaming into his Mic and always finished last. He complained more than ShesMyNerd and WishYouLuckk combined so everyone agrees to give him the boot. Last time wasn't really a boot but I was doing Crota and this random kid joins our party and asks "Can someone help me do 34 Prison?". Everyone falls silent. He then proceeds to say that we all hate him because of his voice but we all said we didn't want to do it after he said that. Then he proceeds to be a dick and the party owner kicks him. I do play with children or if you have a high voice. But if you act like a dick, scream into your Mic, or not follow my orders when you join my fireteam then I'll be the first to kick your ass.

There are "kids" out there that are really chill and actually pretty skilled. I haven't dealt with any screamers.

Personally I'd prefer to set ages for those I play with as I find it a little ... awkward? playing with a kid under 18. Basically if I did it at my local park I'd probably be in jail. Don't get me a wrong - a 13 yo took me through VoG and was nothing but polite and helpful. Just awkward :/ Either way - if people are an arse to you. Just leave the group ;o

Most people just think all kids under 15 are just kids who scream and just play cod. They are USUALLY right. Its a stereotype, get used to it for a couple more years

I played with a group of 4 squeakers (one of them was 10!) and it was hands down the worst vog raid I've ever done. The spire kept deconstructing and it took us 30 minutes to get past the confluxes, even longer for oracles. I don't even want to talk about the templar. Half of them didnt even know what fatebringer was, and they had no clue how to do the jumping puzzle. We had to disconnect for the gorgons maze then reconnect. We couldn't beat Aetheon because the squeakers kept getting killed by the supplicants and didn't know how to use the relic. Worst yet, all of them were lying about being very experienced at vog. They were so bad despite them all being lvl 34. One guy jumped off the edge during confluxes because he was afraid of being killed by a minatour. So just saying, most little kids are absolutely terrible to play with. They suck at fighting, scream into their mics, try to be funny (but fail), don't work with teammates, and are just plain annoying. Especially the ones who aren't old enough to legally purchase Destiny.

I have played in multiple raids with kids and the only who get any sort of abuse are the ones who either yell like a girl in a mic or do stupid stuff in the game resulting in death. I have never heard someone get bullied just for being there. So either you are being obnoxious and annoying, or you have magically found every douche in the world.

Ur not 13, lol it's more like I cried to my mommy and she she wrote this. It was tl dr, but I skimmed It. Here's what I deducted. This game is rated for older ages for a reason. Mainly because older ppl don't give a crap about this stuff. Most of us are here for a break from life and mess around. U get laughed at and made fun of; so what? Take off ur diaper and be a man, either take it like a joke or gtfo. Go back to Mario cart if ur not mature enough for this.

Lol I'm 13 also but I have a deep voice I ask people how old they think I am after I do a HARD MODE raid and they say 22-26. Bro hit puberty already and yes If ur a squeaker at 13 still I will talk smack thanks

I have no idea where this was going but hey just be nice to everyone and dont be a bum edit: dont have auto correct on and am too lazy to correct myself so dont bother commenting about grammar m8

2 RepliesI'm 13 as well but I don't suffer from this since my voice is very deep but the kids that have super high voices and scream and suck ass at the game give "squeakers" a bad rep. And it IS most children. Usually I'm welcoming to kids but if they suck at the game I need skilled players.
