Wrong. She actually died due to palpatine taking her life force and giving it to anakin so he could survive. The robots didn't know why she died. Robots can't detect the force. When anakin was done with his surgery he noticed that padme just died as he finished. When he commented on this the emperor simply smiled and laughed showing he knew about this already.
