Except he's not a stranger. He plays with people for weeks or months then scams them. He's been doing this kind of shit for years over multiple games. He's got a trail across multiple forums of trying to scam his way into people's accounts going back at least as far as 2013. He's a con artist and he conned Game Informer into giving him a sympathetic article to try to weasel out of trouble.
