In the Star Wars universe, every living thing is connected to the force. So if the two universes combined, we'd have to assume that law pertains to the living things of Halo.

Except not every living thing is connected to the force, and it's never been confirmed to be sentient. You're wanking theories a bit hard there, mate.

Every living thing is connected to the force. And the force is at least semi-sentient. When Plagueis attempted to create life through the force, the Force retaliated by creating a manifestation of itself. Anakin Skywalker was the result.

The Yuuzhan Vong are not connected to the force.
-
Yes they are. They were undetectable, but because it's already been stated that the force is connected to every living thing, it's also connected to the Vong.

Edited by Kamots: 2/16/2015 1:25:41 AMIt's explicitly said that they are not only unnoticeable through the force, but completely insusceptible to direct force attacks. This means they are not connected to the force. If they were, force powers would directly affect them. Force users can learn a power called Vongsense, but it requires both a connection to Vong biotechnology and a complete (but temporary) disconnection from the force. If there is an actual argument in your favor other than "The force connects all living things", please mention it.

Edited by Trad: 2/15/2015 7:53:28 PM
Every living thing is connected to the force.
By all means, do what the other guy did not, and lets see a source. All I've seen are characters claiming one thing or another about the force, with none of them backing themselves up, whilst contradicting each other's claims. Furthermore, lets see a source showing why the haloverse's characters would suddenly become connected.
And the force is at least semi-sentient. When Plagueis attempted to create life through the force, the Force retaliated by creating a manifestation of itself. Anakin Skywalker was the result.
Semi-sentient is obviously not equatable to full sentience, so even if it were semi-sentient, it proves that it'd likely do nothing. However with that aside, reactions do not prove, nor even suggest semi-sentience. Though I'm not sure how you'd be "semi sentient" in the first place. Either you're aware, or you're not. Also I'd like a direct link to a passage stating that it was the force itself retaliating. All I've found is them suggesting that midi-chlorians retaliated, and others suggesting that they didn't even retaliate, but that he made Anikin on purpose.
