to aware you, this subclass is not entirely my idea. I am just giving it some good upgrades and a little tweaking so it would fit in with the rest of the game. melee: soul drain
effect: after attacking your target an orb that has the same appearance as an orb of light pretty much follows around your target, marking it like how you can see the enemy that killed you after death.
upgrades:
burden of the soul: the target enemy also moves slower
weight of the soul: the target enemy gains the effect of 'mark of the void' (but instead of all dark its light blue) in pvp and is blind in pve
chains of the soul: the target enemy is tracked longer, increases from 7 seconds to 11 seconds
grenades:
flux grenade
magnetic grenade
soul grenade, sticks to enemies and causes damage over time, like solar grenade.
Super: Soul rip
'you tear into the fabric of space and time, and give yourself another purpose'
effect: you summon a separate soul, which is it's own AI and has the same weapons, abilities, health, and stats. It also has an improved AI to be effective in multiplayer.
upgrades:
gift of the soul: for each kill you get, your soul's weapons do more damage. for each kill your soul gets, your weapons do more damage. stacks up to x4 damage, last as long as at least 1 soul is still alive
Soul tear: you create 2 souls at the cost each one only has 3/4's the stats and health and weapon damage as you.
endless soul: you can summon your soul after death, and even if your revived or respawn it is still active until IT dies.
random upgrades:
light of the soul: your grenade kills have a chance to create orbs of light for your allies
strength of the soul: your 2nd soul ( and 3rd one ) gain half of an overshield upon being summoned
cursed grenade: all of your grenades cause the 'burden of the soul' effect
class upgrades:
eye of the soul: your melee orb tracks enemies near it's target enemy
greedy soul: your melee attack slowly gives you life, while taking away your enemy's life ( refills 1/4 of your health bar, removes 1/4 of an enemy player's health bar)
hunger of the soul: gain an additional melee charge.
